First Time Family Bowling

Michael had the Monday after Valentines Day off (I forgot why), so we headed out for some fun together! We decided to take Jacob bowling. He loved bowling on our Wii, but that is quite different, so we wanted to let him have a crack and the real thing. He thought it was funny that he had to wear different "silly stripey" shoes. :)Michael helped him get his ball, and showed him how everything works. We also had them put up the bumpers, for Jacob, of course! ;)
Michael is great at bowling...just had to say. I, on the other hand, scare people when I bowl because apparently I bring my arm really far back, and it looks like it could go hurling through the air at any moment. I'm fantastic at bowling on the Wii, and thats good enough for me, haha!
The ball was still a little heavy, and I dont think the nice people around us would want our 4 year old hurling that thing any way he wanted...so we decided to have him start underhanded. I think it was the safest (for everyone).

We played 1 game and had a great time, and after that we were all ready for something else..something with some sunshine!
Michael has not been to this park with us, and we had a blast!
It was a great day together, and a much needed break from the everyday stress we have all been under. I just love my little family!
