Oh Yes, She Did...

My sweet, loving and brave sister gave my 4 year old a paint roller, fresh paint, a wall (in there beautiful new home)...and a tall ladder to climb. Its times like this when I am so thankful for my sister because she is so open and willing to give something a chance - like an energetic 4 year old boy with plenty of good intentions. It went so well - Jacob did a great job, and the wall looked great, too (and Rachel's cheeks were especially colorful, as you can see)!Paint war! :)
The roller was his favorite, but he had to try the edger as well - it (as Jacob explained) "gets in those goobie cracks and stuff". Nice boots, eh? ;)
I do not condone child labor (haha)...but I must say he is a great painter! The walls turned out so well, I have to admit that I wish that was my room.
The pictures don't really do the wall color justice - you just have to be lucky enough to see it in person. I love having a boy who is excited to help and work with us, and for a wonderful sister who loves us and creates fun experiences like this.
