Happy Birthday, Mom! Today has always been a special day for me - I get to celebrate my amazing Mom! Mom is an amazing woman who taught me what is good and true in life and always directed my steps towards my Heavenly Father. Mom was going to be named Rhonda, but she was born a little early, on her fathers Birthday. His name is Laureld Arthur Bigler, so they named their first daughter Laura, after her father. Happy Birthday to you, too, Grandpa!
There are many wonderful things I could say about Mom. What has been in my heart a lot lately has been gratitude for her example in teaching me to pray. Her faith is displayed so strongly when you hear her pray, I always knew that she knew HeavenlyFather was listening...and she blessed me with that faith and I have never doubted or wondered if Heavenly Father hears my prayers and loves me. That knowledge has blessed my life in great ways, in personal and life-changing ways. Thank you, Mom, for your example of faith, love, laughter, and charity. I love the way you love us, and I love to see the way you love and enjoy Jacob...he adores you!
