We had an amazingly sunny and warm day last week...it was day 2 of potty training, so I planned to stay home, but it was SO nice (70 degrees!) that we had to go outside and take a chance. It was exactly what we needed. I am constantly amazed at how simple Jacob's wants are - he just wants dirt. He asks to go find dirt all the time...
We went out to the trails behind our complex and did all the things boys want to do...throw rocks...
Played in the dirt (of course)...
And went off-roading with the tricycle. When I saw this I honestly thought that I would have to be the one to drag that thing out of there...but Jacob insisted on "driving" it all the way. 
For those of you with little boys - I would have to say that there are a few things boys want, and they are:Dirt
Something to drive
Rocks (preferably to throw)
Sound effects
Room to run (and run and run and run) ...what do you think??
My little guy is so much fun, I love getting to know him and see what makes his eyes light up.

I was just thinking the same thing today about seeing Tommy's eyes light up. Looks like a fun time.
:) I love it. That's how all my brothers were. Dirt. Dirt. Dirt. I love the pictures you took! We really do need to have a fun picture day.
You gotta give the boys dirt!-hahaha! I can't believe you guys had weather in the 70's- I'm so jealous right now!!!! We are still cold and snowy! Sorry I've neglected your blog, We've been sick over and over again, and I haven't been in a blogging mood for almost a month!
