Uncle Gary (Sabella's dad) invited Jacob to come over a few times this week and plant some herbs, fruit, veggies and flowers with him! Jacob was so happy to be out there in the dirt with Uncle Gary! They planted all sorts of fun things. I didn't get pictures from previous days, so this is the last of the "farmer" jobs. I asked Jacob if he had fun gardening with Gary, and Jacob looked at me very seriously and said "Mom, we are not gardeners, we are farmers!" :)
Jacob loved taking care of it all after the dirty work was done. He is excited to watch them grow!
Jacob always asks Gary about their plants when he sees him. He has already chased the rabbits and a squirrel away :).

I think all little kids should have the chance to grow something. What a fun time! We have a couple garden pots on our balcony and the boys love to see how well our food is growing, and take care of them. As of today, we have two tiny, unripe tomatoes, one pepper, and some great smelling basil-hahaha!
How cute! He is a farmer for sure! That is really nice the Gary let Jacob help, and have that learning experience.
