Fun and busy Saturday!

Last Saturday was SO fun - and incredibly busy! We went early in the morning to help clean the church and had a lot of fun together washing windows and cleaning (Seriously, we did!). After that we went to the baptism of a good friend and then we changed into fun clothes in the bathroom and went outside the church for a Primary water party!
Jacob and Lucy playing. Jacob loves being in water of any kind. :) They were fishing for beads in the water...I think the were supposed to do it with their feet :P.
Bro. Bemis showing Jacob the art of the slip 'n slide! He loved it! Most of the times he tried it he would run and then fall at the very end with a big splash, which was hilarious to watch!
There were several game stations, but most of the activity was one big water fight! Buckets, spray bottles, hoses, sponges...it was a lot of fun!
The little boys had a great time chasing each other with the spray bottles - a much better idea in squirt guns (in my opinion).

And after it all Jacob finished it off with a Popsicle. It was a great time with our Primary friends!
After trying to get the house picked up, we headed out for the adult session of Stake Conference, which was amazing! Jacob lasted the whole time without issues - which was lovely. It may sound silly, but during that session was the first time we let him go get a drink at the drinking fountain by himself (granted the drinking fountain was outside the door and around the corner) he was very reverent about it and came right back to us - it was a small thing, but it was a huge reminder that my little guy is getting older, more independent and all the more lovable!
