Today was a fun day with Sabella. Jacob loves playing with her and showing her a lot of the fun things she will learn to do as she gets older. Last week Jacob and I were making something and we had a leftover purple heart, which Jacob insisted on putting up on his wall. He said that it was an "I love you" heart, and wanted it where he could see it in his room. A friend of mine and I are throwing a baby shower for a mutual friend, and I had been putting together the invitations (Wendy was amazing and brought me all the pieces, so I got to have fun putting it all together!) They turned out really well:
I had an extra baby face (haha) that somehow got green marker on it...and Jacob asked for it. I forgot about it until he came in and announced so excitedly that he "put Sabella on her heart because we love her so much!" This is what he showed me:
Too cute! :) It does look like her, too! We love Sabella!
Jacob will be a great big brother someday - its so fun to watch him learn and share with her. He loves her like a brother, and I think the feeling is mutual :).
