Carina Day!

Thursday I had to take our car to the shop (another saga...whats up with Honda seat belts? 2 of ours have broken!) and my " soul sista" Carina came to my rescue! We took the car, went back to our place and made breakfast (at 11am - yep). Later we went to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream to say thank you to Carina  - and I realized that Jacob had never been before!

It was his first time going to an ice cream place where you get to pick your flavor and other fun things, he loved it! We got waffle cones, and ate them with a spoon, so Jacob had to eat his cone with a mini spoon...I actually LOVE those little spoons - they remind me of being a kid and I still get a sample just to get a spoon to eat with. Yep, its true - as an adult I still like to eat with my baby pink spoon :). It was even the same BR I went to as a kid with my family.
Yay for ice cream! All three of us love ice cream more than most other treats...kindred spirits. :) After ice cream we went to the park and chatted while Jacob played, then to Barnes and Noble for some good readin' and the train table for Jacob. We were all so happy! Carina drove us back to the other side of town to get the car and we hopped over to downtown to get Michael from work...by way of Chipotle - ahhh...what a great day! :)

Carina is such a dear friend to me, I have known her for over 6 years, but it feels like I have known her all my life. We love you Aunt Carina! :)
