I realized something yesterday...those shoes are getting smaller and smaller on my boy! I have glimpses of Jacob where I am amazed at how grown up he is. It seems like he is doing everything by himself these days - which has given me pause to think of how I can be a mom to a boy now who does not rely on me so much. How can I be in his life with this independence? My heart now leaps when he asks me to play with him...its amazing to see your interaction change, its a new place for me - but if its with him, its where I want to be...
That kid has me by the heartstrings...
