Last Sunday the men had a Stake priesthood meeting, so I went to my parents house to hang out with my mom and sister Rachel (and hold baby Sabella, of course.) Rachel made all of us Root Beer floats! My mom looked at me like I was from another planet when I told her that it was Jacob's first. So, this one is for you mom! :)
Nice sunburn from the parade the day before, huh? :) It was hilarious listening to him eat the float. He was mumbling little "mmmm"s and "yumm"s all in his own little world of creamy sweet goodness. It was like he was in another world there - all of us disappeared and it was just him and that cup of bliss. hahaha! I thought you only saw that in comedy sketches and movies! :)Jacob, I love how much you love things in life and you are not afraid to show it. You are who you are and you are happy with being you. I love that about you, and I am inspired by it daily. I pray you always feel that comfortable in your own skin. You are an amazing little man and I can't imagine who I would be without you in my life. I love you!

Have you seen "What About Bob?" when he eats, he groans and moans with delight. That is what Jacob's reaction to the rootbeer floats remindme of. I don't care for rootbeer floats, so whenever we have floats (rarely) I love to make the boys sorbet floats with Sprite.Yummy!
