Jacob and I had a nice morning together today. We cleaned, played and prepared for a lunch date with my mom for Mother's Day. Jacob even had some time to play a game online and talked on the phone with Aunt Vera - thankfully this is not a common image...but a cute one! :)
I was busy getting ready to go to lunch, and Jacob was playing nicely. I came out to get the bag packed when I heard the familiar sound of my Swiffer mop in the kitchen. Jacob was mopping the floor for me! He was so proud of himself, and said "Hey Mom! I'm mopping the kitchen for you because I love you. You are a great mommy!" 
I know I have said it before - that kid has me by the heartstrings. What a sweet and genuine Mother's Day present! I love you, Jacob!
We took my mom to lunch at a fun authentic Mexican restaurant, and the food was amazing! Jacob especially loved the chips and salsa and fresh lemons :)
This is what happens when you give your child the camera to entertain themselves while waiting for the food. :)
My mom is hilarious! I was so happy to see that Jacob captured her lively dance at the table! We had a great time talking, laughing and enjoying great food. I have the best mom...and its a great feeling to grow even closer with her as I experience more of life, being a wife, mother, woman. She is a great example of love, faith and has taught me so much of what I know to be good and true. I love you, Mom.
