The day before Thanksgiving Jacob and I were going to do chores and get things ready...Jacob decided that he wanted to be a robot - something he has not pretended for a while...and I had a box to get rid of, so I made a "robot" helmet. I intended on covering it with back paper to look better, but I could not keep it away from Jacob long enough to do that - so he is the "Honey Bunches Robot" (or so he said...haha)

I had no idea that robots have amazing ninja-like skills! :)

As you can see, I was drying laundry, getting things put away and organized...and completely got lost in it and
didn't pay much attention to my little boy...who got his scissors out and cut up paper and a candy wrapper (yep...the Halloween candy is still alive...I think he finally forgot about it!). And naturally, I had just vacuumed...so Jacob vacuumed up his mess...

I am posting this for posterity...see...here you are at 3 years old...chores can be fun! So when you are 15 and cant understand why we make you clean, you can see this and remember that you have always helped out at home! :)

I LOVE putting my kids to work! It builds character, and if they grow up always helping out, then it won't be so weird to them when they are older-hahaha! Great job Jacob!
