Thanksgiving!

We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving this year...it was wonderful! My mom is one of the best cooks to ever live - and this year was no exception. I was going to take a picture of the lovely and yummy food, but we were all hungry and I completely forgot! :P All my siblings in the area came, which is less than 1/2 our family, but we still had a crowd (there is 8 kids in my family). Jacob loved having all the cousins to play with.

My contribution was a 4-layer pumpkin cake (I like to break from tradition sometimes...its fun)

My amazing sister Rachel with our niece, Julia. Rachel is pregnant with their first - a girl!! Sabella is due mid February. Jacob was talking with Rachel (we call her Cha Cha) after dinner, and Rachel asked Jacob if he was excited to play with Sabella. He told her "Cha Cha, we just have to get a door for your belly so Sabella can come out play. When she comes out she will say 'heellloooo!' and we can play!" I love how little kids minds work...

I LOVE this pic! Michael has the best sense of humor and this amazing ability to make himself look completely different - I cant wait to see him make this face when we are old and wrinkly! haha
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! After we got home we put Jacob to bed and got out the Christmas decorations...HOORAY!
