A Day at the Park

After sleeping in on New Years Day (Mom W and Phillip were staying with us) thanks to the laptop and Wall E...I love technology! We met up with the Thomanders at the park for some fun. The park near our house has a climbing rock that the kids soon conquered...All the guys are rock climbers, so it was fun to watch everyone. 

We brought a kite just in case, and as soon as we got to the park the wind picked up, so Jacob and Michael got to fly the kite. It was Michael's first time flying a kite with Jacob, it was fun to see the different things Michael showed Jacob. My mother-in-law had never flown a kite before! It was great to see her have that "first" with us kids and to see her light up. We miss you already Grandma Carol!

We spent about 3 hours there that day just playing, kicking the soccer ball, football, Frisbee...Phillip played a lot of Ultimate Frisbee, and gave Jacob his first lesson.
