Fun having Grandma and Phillip!

What can I say...I am truly blessed in the in-law department. My mother-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Phillip stayed with us Dec. 28 - Jan. 2nd. It was great having the time with them! These are a few pictures from some of our fun at home.
Michael was SO happy to have someone to play Chess with. I honestly don't like to play Chess that much, and on the rare occasion I do offer to play a round Michael beats me within 5 minutes...there were several Chess games that week.
Jacob took this picture of Grandma when they were playing - its a favorite of mine. :)
Play dough!! My mother-in-law also has a degree in art, so we were all having a blast with the play dough. She showed Jacob how to make so many new things. He has played with his new play dough set a lot the last few days, and every time he practices the things Grandma showed him...then he runs it all over with a monster truck :P.
There were several mornings when Jacob would bring books to Grandma to read all snuggled up in the chair...sweet memories :).
Jacob also had some good play time with Uncle Phillip! Blocks, trains, race cars. Jacob loves Phillip and would walk out into the room and say "Hey Uncle Phillip, come play with me...come on...lets go in my room!" And off they went.
It was really hard to say good bye to everyone. If you look closely at this picture, you can see the kiss marks on Jacob's cheek from Grandma the day she left. He would go look at it in the mirror and get so excited to see that her kiss was still there!
We miss you guys already!
