I don't know if anyone has seen this footage yet, but I'm sure that it will only be a matter of time before this amazing video is seen round the globe. This is video of the very rare, and very dangerous beast known as the North American Play-Doh turtle. These guys are fierce! Lightning quick, too. Don't let their appearance fool you. Our camera crew has never been this close to one of these fellas, and let me tell you, off-camera there were plenty of times when this creature got out of control, smashing our gear and threatening to gobble our supply of Spam, the only real food that you can bring into the wild without fear of expiration...other than Twinkies, that is. A couple of times, the big fella got upset and charged our van. Luckily for me, I was nowhere near the action. I was safely observing from above. Not in heaven, you tweakers; In a helicopter. I thought my, er, their number was up for sure! Luckily, everyone escaped without injury, though most of our film and equipment were destroyed when the turtle went into his final rampage before disappearing into the deep forests of our local Colorado Springs city park. Thank goodness we managed to salvage the footage you see here.
