Going to the movies is a rare thing for us. The only movie Jacob has gone to was to see Wall-E last summer, and he loved it! The kids all thought Monsters Vs. Aliens looked good, and Jacob was happy to join in for the fun. The first half hour of the movie was hilarious, then it got a bit serious, but still had some funny moments...we liked it!
In the theatre during the trailer for "Land of the Lost" at the end there is a T-Rex who snaps at the camera. Jacob jumped (more than I have ever seen him before) and I asked him if he was okay. He said "That dinosaur startled me, Mom...he was too bad for me."The movie was funny and we had a great time. Vera stocked us up with popcorn - a special treat! There were not many people in the theatre, and all of them left right as the credits began...so we let the kids dance around and sing down in front of the screen, it was fun and cute. It was getting late, so we decided to pick up dinner on the way home. Vera's girls were deciding what they want, and then I hear Jacob trying to get my attention from the back seat. I turn around and he says "Mom, I want a number 26 please!" and I told him I would...then I hear him calling me again, so I turn around to see his cute little face peeking up at me from the very back of the van, and he says "And with cheesies mom!".
