I know we are all looking forward to Christmas, and we are no exception. I would like to share my testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith today, on his birthday.
I know that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God. He prayed to Heavenly Father to know the truth for himself, and God the Father and Jesus Christ did appear to him. By the power of heaven he translated the Book Of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. He restored the true church of Jesus Christ to the earth.
I am truly thankful for Joseph Smith, for his life and example, faith and devotion to Heavenly Father. To paraphrase the words of President John Taylor, no man save Jesus Christ, has done more for Heavenly Father's children than Joseph Smith.
I know that learning more of the Prophet Joseph will bring you closer to the Savior, strengthen your testimony and motivate you to do good. I know this because that is what I have experienced in my life.
