We had such a great Christmas...and I finally have some time to get caught up! The Sunday before Christmas (Dec. 21) we dipped some sugar cookies in chocolate to put with some other goodies for friends and family. Many of you were not home, and we were really busy, so maybe I will get some Valentine sweets to you! :)
We had a blast making goodies together, and I was pretty slap-happy after staying up until 3 am baking...it was really fun! I made apple bread, chocolate/peanut butter cookies and these chocolate-dipped sugar cookies. I chose those things mainly so Jacob could help out with them, which turned out wonderfully! We had so much chocolate leftover, we found ourselves looking around the kitchen for things to dip in chocolate...I think that was the really fun (and yummy) part.
